Status

A seller declares private person, sole trader, or company; actual trading behaviour remains decisive.

Products

Lawful provenance, right to sell, accurate description, and applicable safety information must be confirmed before publication.

Fee

A 5% fee applies only to successfully paid final item prices, excluding shipping. Applicable VAT is calculated solely on the fee, never on the item price. No fee for non-payment, cancellation, or a full refund; monthly statement, due 14 days after invoice issue. Promotion services paid from the service balance appear on the same monthly statement as already paid lines.

The fee is separate consideration for A&A-EUcoins’ platform service. It is not withheld from the item price, gives A&A-EUcoins no control over the item payment, and does not make A&A-EUcoins a party, commercial agent, or payment service provider for the sale. Sellers must truthfully report payment, cancellation, and refund; A&A-EUcoins may request evidence to verify the fee.

The auction result alone does not trigger a fee. If a documented review establishes that the seller received payment despite reporting non-payment, the ordinary success fee arises when that finding is made. An intentionally or grossly negligent false report may be sanctioned as a separate rules breach; no penalty fee is added. A confirmed buyer default remains fee-free. Decisions are reasoned, evidence is preserved, and an appeal is available.

PStTG

The goods exclusion applies only when both thresholds are met: fewer than 30 activities and less than €2,000 consideration in the reporting period.

VAT and dispatch country

The seller owes the VAT on its sales and chooses the correct treatment. Listing prices are final prices. EU sellers provide their valid VAT ID; dispatch from Germany requires a German VAT ID (section 25e UStG). Sellers not established in the EU may only offer goods shipped from their country outside the EU; the goods value per consignment into the EU must exceed €150 (Art. 14a Directive 2006/112/EC). The buyer then pays import VAT and duty and is told so before buying. A&A-EUcoins keeps the statutory records of sales (section 22f UStG) and may block listings where there are indications that tax obligations are not met.

Thematic banners and shop promotion

These are separate paid placements labelled “Sponsored”. The advertiser and payer are accessible beside the banner; the shop advertiser is identified in its block. The homepage has up to three banner slots. The platform’s own card may occupy one of them for a limited time and is marked as a platform notice; once it expires, the slot is available to advertisers.

Each page opening selects active, approved campaigns from available sellers. Campaigns with fewer confirmed impressions over 24 hours are preferred; ties are randomized. Different sellers are selected where possible, without repeating a campaign on one page. Tariffs have equal weight: longer participation does not increase priority. Banners do not change during a page visit.

Shops use separately labelled placements; normal seller sorting is preserved. PRO, ratings and absence of complaints do not add paid rotation weight. Item positions, ratings and verification are unaffected. Impressions, clicks and sales are not guaranteed.

PRO and measurement of new services

PRO provides additional shop tools, not identity verification, coin quality assurance or a transaction guarantee. Manual renewal adds a term after the paid period; automatic charging is not enabled. Expiry removes access and the badge, retaining collections and templates.

Measurement uses visitors with an active session and analytics consent, excluding owners and administrators. At least half the element must remain visible for one continuous second in a visible tab. Repeats are deduplicated per day, campaign and placement. A one-way signed identifier changes daily; detailed events older than 30 days become aggregate counters. A missing measurement does not necessarily mean a missing view.

Rotation considers measured impressions, short-lived reservations, participation time and tariff weight (normally 1). Less-served campaigns receive priority; ties favour the campaign waiting longer. Campaigns are counted separately, with different sellers preferred when alternatives exist. Advertising does not increase seller ratings.

Deception and identity misuse

Forged or stolen identity, register, provenance, bank, or shipping evidence and false tracking data are prohibited. They are a material breach and may lead to evidence preservation, a freeze on new transactions, reverification, notice to affected persons or competent bodies, and termination after a documented proportionate review. Mandatory reporting and cooperation duties remain unaffected.

Identity and trader traceability

Before a trader is enabled, A&A-EUcoins obtains and checks against reliable sources, where applicable, the name, address, telephone, email, identity document or eID, payment-account reference, register and registration number, and self-certification of compliance with Union law. Material changes trigger reverification. A false private-seller classification may be corrected and selling paused pending review.

Cultural property, provenance, and sanctions

For old or archaeological coins, the seller must verify lawful provenance, chain of title, and any required import/export authorisation, and retain evidence under applicable thresholds and rules. Stolen, looted, unlawfully imported/exported, or sanctions-prohibited objects must not be listed. A&A-EUcoins may request additional evidence and suspend the listing pending review.

Under the German Cultural Property Protection Act, commercial placing on the market carries general due-diligence duties (section 41 KGSG) and extended duties such as checking provenance, import/export documents and record-keeping (sections 42 and 45 KGSG). The €2,500 value threshold for the extended duties does not apply to archaeological cultural property; coins are excluded from archaeological cultural property only if they exist in large numbers and have no relevant archaeological value (section 42(3) KGSG).

Coins and medals bearing symbols of unconstitutional organisations (in particular Nazi symbols, section 86a German Criminal Code) may be listed only as historical collectors' items. The symbol must not be glorified or highlighted in photos, title or description; images showing it may be obscured or the listing removed. Restrikes and copies must be clearly marked as such; items that can be confused with valid euro coins are not allowed.

Packaging and product safety

A trader shipping packaged goods to end consumers in Germany must meet VerpackDG and EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) duties, including LUCID registration and system participation where required. The registration number (LUCID in Germany) and a self-certification of compliance are recorded in the seller profile; system participation must be evidenced on request. Without evidence A&A-EUcoins may block affected listings. Applicable manufacturer, EU responsible-person, product-ID, and warning information must be complete; dangerous products and recalls must be reported immediately.

Free periods and trial participation

The platform may grant a global free period for existing and new accounts, a period following registration or an individual benefit. Free buyer access and waiver of seller commission are separate benefits. Applicable services and expiry dates appear in your account. Durations in months are calculated in calendar months from the start of the relevant benefit. Seller verification and account restrictions still apply. Buyers pay sellers directly for goods and shipping; these are not free platform services.

Orders opened during a seller commission waiver remain commission-free even if receipt of payment is confirmed later. Existing invoices remain payable. Disabling new registration benefits does not shorten previously granted periods. Ending a global period or individual benefit early changes future eligibility while preserving the history of commission-free orders. After expiry, the regular terms apply: 5% seller commission excluding shipping and €30 buyer access for 12 months. Previously purchased access remains valid until its own expiry. There is no automatic charge or renewal.

When trial participation is enabled, a buyer can unlock 3 different auction lots free of charge per period. By default, the allowance renews every 30 days from the start of trial participation. Your account shows the current interval and next renewal date. The platform may change the interval or disable new trial participation. Further bids on already unlocked free lots do not use another slot and remain available when trial access is disabled, unless the account is restricted. Unused slots do not accumulate. When the allowance is exhausted, buyers can wait for renewal or purchase annual access separately.
